If we want to talk about how a government could brilliantly
rebuild its nation right after huge demolition, we should talk about Japan.
August 1945 Japan has been completely destroyed caused the Atom bomb was thrown
by USA legion in the city of Hiroshima, about ten thousand people were killed
in this tragedy. Many state-experts was not believe Japan should be able to
grain a new life after the explosion, even if the life in the long run.
It’s surprised the world when watching over how Japan survived
through this crisis, Japan’s revival after Hiroshima’s tragedy on 1945 has shown how the Legendary Emperor
of Japan, Hirohito has known well as the role model of never giving up and
strong determination, then being the most inspiring nation throughout history.
As reported by BBC news how Hiroshima succeed to promote a
peace to the whole world is how Hiroshima’s government with the emperor done an
enforcement of ‘Reconstruction
Law for Hiroshima’s Peace Memorial’ on August 6, 1949, which is a
result of hard work of the people and the Mayor mainly, Shinzo Hamai. By this
law, the government and people were
striving together self-devotion to promote a peace as it told before. Also,
enforcement of peace education for Hiroshima’s youth. Thus, how Japan exists as the strongest state military and revived to
the next glorious by Hiroshima’s tragedy.
While
next crisis is how the government improved the country from its decline become
the great competitor of world exist, before that we should throwback to Uni
Arab Emirate’s life at the time when 1960- it was called “Marina Dubai” within
14 years, even in 2004 ago, when it is just a barren land and dessert as far as
the eyes could see, but we know it now as one of wonderful land in the whole world. Full of exotic destinations
and elegant infrastructures.
CNBC Indonesia and phinemo.com reported that Dubai as the
capital of UAE have been increased about 9 transformations of every single fields within 50-60
years. Thus, how smart leader making a good plan for the city, public service
and renewal of local facilities. Also, 13 public services has launched on
October 2001, and another services are scheduled to operate in future. Who
would have thought, this country was having a good prospect in many aspetcs, included: economy, public
health, society, lifestyles, public means, etc. There are many massive offers
this country has to offer.
This is the great revival of Middle-east’s region, how the
world could see, not only an unexpected places of Middle-east’s land. But it
could compete with other regions even the western lifestyle, and be the face of
post-modern life in every single fields.
By these examples we could conclude that every region might
passed their crises, and the strategy of Public leaders should be tested
through what happened in it. As explained before, either Japan’s government on
1945-1949 which could survived through the crisis and hand in hand together
with the people rebuild to improve Japan back to its glory. Or Arab Emirate’s
government within 60 years have redesigned the barren land and uninteresting
region to be an excited place to visit in the whole world, by economic
versification as the main power of country needed, and next is branch of
tourism, massive infrastructure development which interested for foreign
tourists. Those are several real proofs for smart management of public
leadership. How they build up their region after its adversity.
For this, the simple word to say is having ‘Smart Leadership’, how we effort to made it true, cause the crises are not
only happened to them, it could be
happened even
to ourselves. As well as we known the way for this condition, we have to be
smart in taking action, and there are 3 main-ways of facing problems are: Mind-mapping, handling, and solving
problem. And afterwards, checking the suitable result of what we have done. Is
it clear for solving problem? So what the less of it and then we correct it
immediately, but of course it must be according to the crisis scansion. Additionally
by “Plan, Do, Check, Action”; 4 steps shortened by “PCDA” are the way to ensure
the success of a project, while hold on the principles such as “The right man
on the right place”, it means to choose and manage a really competent team for
running a corporation. These, what we’re youth should learn how to grasp the
nation smartly by real Plan, Do, Check and Action.
